Nutrition Reviews is an independent directory and review site for nutrition products and supplements sold on Amazon and TikTok Shop in the United States. Our mission is to be your one-stop source for these products: one place to see what's in a product, what the research says, how it compares with the alternatives and what real creators think of it on video, before you spend a dollar.
Why we built Nutrition Reviews
Buying supplements has never been easier, or more confusing. A single Amazon search can return thousands of protein powders, and a TikTok Shop product can sell out on the strength of a few viral videos. Star ratings, sponsored listings and creator hype compete for your attention, while the questions that matter most are often the hardest to answer. Is the dose right? Has it been independently tested? Is it worth the money?
We built Nutrition Reviews to answer those questions in one place, with the label, the evidence and real-world feedback side by side.
What we do
We cover the categories people shop for most, from protein powder, creatine and pre-workout to greens powders, multivitamins, omega-3s, collagen, gut health, sleep and hydration. Every product in our directory has its own page with:
- An editorial review explaining what the product does well, where it falls short, and who it is and isn't for.
- A Nutrition Reviews Score from 0 to 10, built from five weighted factors: efficacy, quality and purity, value, experience and transparency. How We Review & Score explains exactly how it works.
- The Supplement Facts or Nutrition Facts panel, so you can see what's in a serving without squinting at a product photo.
- Where to buy, with links to Amazon, TikTok Shop and brand stores that sell the product.
- Real video reviews from creators on YouTube and TikTok, each labeled positive, mixed or negative, so you hear from real users, not just the brand.
Our Learn section adds evidence-based guides to ingredients, doses, safety and label reading.
How we make money
Nutrition Reviews is free to read. We're funded by affiliate commissions: when you click one of our links to a retailer such as Amazon or TikTok Shop and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from that retailer. Using our links doesn't add anything to the price you pay.
We don't sell sponsored reviews, paid rankings or "featured" spots. If we ever add another source of revenue, such as display advertising, we'll say so here and update our privacy policy before it goes live. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.
Editorial independence
Affiliate income keeps the site running, but it never decides what we say. Brands can't pay to be listed, reviewed or scored, and they can't preview or approve our reviews. Commission rates play no part in our scoring, and we publish low scores for products we could earn money from, including heavily promoted ones.
No supplement brand, manufacturer or retailer owns Nutrition Reviews or has a say in what we publish. Our Editorial Standards set out the rules we follow on conflicts of interest, AI tools and corrections.
What makes us different
- Both marketplaces in one place. Many of today's most talked-about products sell on TikTok Shop as well as Amazon. We cover both.
- Real voices, clearly labeled. We feature video reviews from independent creators, critical ones included, and label sponsored videos when we know about them. Nobody can pay to have a video featured.
- A score you can check. Our rubric is published in full: the factors, the weights, the rating bands and the rules that cap scores for problems like proprietary blends.
- Evidence over hype. We compare doses with those used in clinical research, verify certifications in the certifiers' own databases, and say plainly when the evidence is thin.
- Honesty about our methods. We don't run our own lab tests, and we don't pretend to. Our reviews are built on label analysis, published research, certification records, pricing and patterns across buyer and creator reviews.
- Respect for your privacy. We don't run ads or ad trackers, our analytics don't use cookies, and embedded videos load nothing from YouTube or TikTok until you press play. See our Privacy Policy.

- We'll never sell a score, a ranking or a review.
- We'll show our work, so you can judge our reasoning for yourself.

Nutrition Reviews is written and maintained by the Nutrition Reviews Editorial Team. We use AI tools to help with research and drafting, and a human editor reviews everything before it's published and is accountable for it.
