Affiliate Disclosure

Nutrition Reviews earns commissions from some retailer links, including as an Amazon Associate. Here's how it works and why it never affects our scores.

Last updated September 29, 2026

Nutrition Reviews earns money from some of the links on this site. If you click a link to a retailer and then make a purchase, we may receive a commission from that retailer. This doesn't add anything to the price you pay, and it never affects our reviews or scores.

Amazon Associates

As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.

When you click one of our links to Amazon and buy something, Amazon may pay us a commission on qualifying purchases. This can include items other than the product we linked to.

TikTok Shop

We participate in the TikTok Shop affiliate program. When you buy a product through one of our TikTok Shop links, we may earn a commission at a rate set by the seller.

Other retailers and brands

We also participate in affiliate programs run by other online retailers and by supplement brands, either directly or through affiliate networks. When you buy through these links, we may earn a commission.

The simple rule: assume that any link from our site to a retailer or a brand's online store may be an affiliate link. That includes the "Where to buy" buttons on product pages, retailer links in our articles and product links in our newsletter.

We also:

  • place a short disclosure near affiliate links on the pages where they appear, so you don't need to visit this page to find out; and
  • mark affiliate links in our site's code with rel="sponsored", the attribute search engines such as Google recommend for paid links.

What commissions don't do

  • They don't change your price. Using our links doesn't add anything to what you pay.
  • They don't affect our scores. Commission rates aren't part of our scoring rubric, and we review and score products whether or not we can earn from them.
  • They don't buy placement. Brands and retailers can't pay for a better score, a higher ranking or a featured spot.

Other relationships

We don't accept payment for reviews, and we don't publish sponsored content. If that ever changes, sponsored content will be clearly labeled as sponsored. If a brand provides us with a free product, we'll disclose it in the review. Our Editorial Standards explain how we protect our independence.

Creators' own relationships

The video reviews we embed are made by independent creators on YouTube and TikTok. Some creators have their own sponsorships or earn their own commissions, for example through TikTok Shop's affiliate program. We don't earn money from these videos or from creators' links. When we know a video is sponsored, we label it as sponsored.

Why we tell you this

The U.S. Federal Trade Commission expects publishers to clearly disclose financial relationships that could affect how readers weigh their recommendations. You can read the FTC's guidance on endorsements, influencers and affiliate links. Beyond the legal requirement, we think you deserve to know how we're funded so you can judge our recommendations for yourself.
