Qunol, founded in 2006, is the supplement brand of Quten Research Institute, LLC of Pine Brook, New Jersey, and is best known for water-and-fat-soluble CoQ10 and turmeric products. Sanofi acquired Qunol in September 2023, and it now belongs to Opella, the consumer health company that Sanofi separated in 2025 and that is 50% owned by CD&R. Qunol says all its products are third-party tested, with results kept confidential, and made in cGMP-compliant US facilities; no USP or NSF certification is claimed. A December 2025 Class II recall covered three lots of Qunol Extra Strength Turmeric capsules (mold in a raw material), not CoQ10.
