The Best Weight Management of 2026

We scored 6 weight management products on efficacy, purity, value, experience and transparency — then read the labels, checked the certifications and watched the creator reviews so you don’t have to. Here’s how they rank.

Independent rankings — brands can’t pay for placement. How we score
1Best OverallWeight Management
Thorne Berberine Dual Action Formula 60-capsule bottle

Thorne Berberine is a well-made, NSF-certified version of the most researched 'metabolic' botanical, and a sensible choice if your clinician suggests berberine. Keep expectations in check, though: the average weight change in trials is about 2 pounds. Its drug-interaction profile also means it isn't something to add casually if you take prescription medications.

NSF Contents Certified

Why we like it

  • NSF Contents Certified and made in Thorne's own U.S. facility
  • Fully disclosed doses of two berberine forms
  • Berberine has a meaningful research base for metabolic markers

Keep in mind

  • Average weight loss in trials is under 1 kg
  • Decreases CYP2D6, CYP2C9 and CYP3A4 activity, so it can interact with many drugs

2Best ValueWeight Management
Front of NOW Foods Glucomannan 575 mg 180-capsule bottle

NOW Glucomannan is cheap, cleanly formulated and honestly labeled, which puts it ahead of most weight-loss products. Keep expectations modest, though: trials show a small average weight difference at best. Treat it as an appetite aid alongside diet changes, and always take it with a full glass of water.

cGMP facilityKosherHalal

Why we like it

  • About 28 cents a serving
  • A single ingredient with a fully disclosed dose (1,725 mg per serving)
  • NPA A-rated GMP; non-GMO, vegan, kosher and halal

Keep in mind

  • The average weight effect in meta-analyses is small and not clinically meaningful
  • Choking risk if not taken with enough water

3Most ViralWeight Management
Lemme Reset GLP-1 Production Support 60-capsule bottle

Lemme did something unusual: it dosed every ingredient to match its research and labeled the product honestly as not a drug. But the evidence comes from small, short trials of individual ingredients, and nothing suggests effects remotely comparable to GLP-1 medications. At $80 a month it's hard to justify; if you want to experiment, single-ingredient saffron extracts cost far less.

Clean Label ProjectThird-party testedcGMP facility

Why we like it

  • All three ingredients are disclosed and dosed to match their clinical studies
  • Clean Label Project Certified with a Purity Award, and third-party tested
  • Clearly states it is not a GLP-1 drug

Keep in mind

  • No trial of the finished product, and the ingredient studies are small (30–60 people) and short
  • $80 a month, about $2.67 a day

4Weight Management
Goli Apple Cider Vinegar Gummies 60-count bottle with two gummies

Goli made apple cider vinegar easy and tasty to take, but there's little reason to expect meaningful weight change from these gummies. The vinegar trials used liquid doses, Goli doesn't disclose its acetic acid content, and the sugar adds up at the suggested intake. Buy them if you enjoy them as a B12 gummy, not as a weight-loss tool.

cGMP facility

Why we like it

  • Pleasant apple taste, far easier than drinking vinegar
  • Vegan, gelatin-free and gluten-free, made in a cGMP-certified U.S. facility
  • The label lists 500 mg of ACV and 1.2 mcg of B12 per gummy

Keep in mind

  • Weight-loss evidence for ACV is modest and comes from liquid vinegar; acetic acid content isn't disclosed
  • 2 g of added sugar per gummy, or up to 12 g a day at the maximum dose

5Weight Management
Pendulum GLP-1 Probiotic 30-capsule bottle
4.9
Poor

Pendulum GLP-1 Probiotic is a carefully made, novel probiotic sold on a mechanism rather than on results. No human trial shows it reduces appetite or body weight, and 'GLP-1' on the label is not equivalent to GLP-1 medication. At roughly $2–3 a day, it makes sense only as an experiment for someone curious about Akkermansia, not as a weight-management tool.

Why we like it

  • Pendulum is upfront that it contains no GLP-1 and isn't a weight-loss drug
  • Named strain IDs (WB-STR) for Akkermansia and C. butyricum
  • One capsule a day

Keep in mind

  • No human trial of this formula for appetite or weight, only a six-week consumer survey
  • $64–89 a month

6Weight Management
Hydroxycut Hardcore 60-capsule box

Hydroxycut

Hardcore

4.6
Poor

Hydroxycut Hardcore is essentially a high-dose caffeine pill with yohimbine and a weakly supported green coffee extract. Any extra weight loss is likely modest and depends on diet and exercise, while the stimulant load and the brand's liver-injury history are real concerns. We don't recommend it; if you want caffeine for training, a measured cup of coffee is cheaper and easier to control.

Why we like it

  • The caffeine dose (265 mg per serving) is clearly stated
  • A noticeable energy boost for training
  • Inexpensive per bottle and widely available

Keep in mind

  • Up to 530 mg of caffeine a day at the label dose, above the FDA's 400 mg benchmark
  • Green coffee extract evidence is limited to small, high-risk-of-bias trials

FAQ

Do weight-loss supplements work?
Mostly not in a meaningful way. NCCIH notes that most supplements marketed for rapid weight loss don't keep weight off long term, and some are dangerous. In meta-analyses, the better-supported ingredients, such as glucomannan and berberine, produce average differences of about 1 kg versus placebo, far less than marketing suggests. Diet, activity, sleep and medical treatment matter much more.
Are GLP-1 supplements the same as Ozempic or Wegovy?
No. Supplements marketed for GLP-1 support contain no GLP-1 or drug, and brands such as Lemme and Pendulum say so on their product pages. Prescription GLP-1 medications are engineered to resist breakdown and last about a week, while the GLP-1 your body makes lasts a minute or two. The supplement evidence consists mainly of small ingredient studies or consumer surveys.
Does apple cider vinegar help with weight loss?
Possibly a little, in liquid form. A 2025 meta-analysis of 10 trials found small reductions in weight and BMI, mostly at about 30 mL a day in people with overweight or type 2 diabetes. A widely publicized 2024 trial was retracted in 2025. ACV gummies usually don't disclose their acetic acid content and often add sugar.
Is berberine safe?
Berberine is generally tolerated but often causes digestive side effects such as gas, nausea, diarrhea or constipation. It can also interact with medications: Thorne's label notes that it decreases the activity of the liver enzymes CYP2D6, CYP2C9 and CYP3A4, which process many drugs. Avoid it if you're pregnant, nursing or trying to conceive, and check with a clinician if you take prescription medicine.
What's the safest way to use a weight-management supplement?
Choose a product with fully disclosed doses and third-party testing, avoid high-stimulant formulas and never combine several fat burners. Take fiber products with plenty of water, because too little liquid can cause choking. Tell your clinician what you're taking, especially if you use diabetes, blood-pressure or blood-thinning medication, and stop if you notice palpitations or other unusual symptoms.
