Vegan gummies with 5,000 mcg of biotin plus B vitamins and zinc for about $1 a day; biotin rarely helps hair without a deficiency and can skew lab tests.

Pros and cons

Undeniable Beauty

  • Certified to NSF/ANSI 173, so label contents are verified and contaminants screened
  • Fully disclosed label, including the 50 mg keratin dose
  • Natural-source vitamin E and no synthetic flavors or colors
  • 4.5-star average across 14,000+ buyer ratings, with frequent praise for the taste
  • Biotin at 8,333% DV has little evidence of benefit unless you are deficient
  • Keratin dose is one-tenth of the 500 mg used in a published solubilized-keratin trial
  • Costs more than twice as much per day as Nature's Bounty's similar biotin gummy
  • Contains gelatin and 2 g of added sugar; some buyers report breakouts

Hair Skin and Nails Gummies

  • Vegan pectin gummy, free of gelatin and gluten
  • Fully disclosed label with no proprietary blend
  • Adds vitamins A, C, D, E, B6, B12, folate and zinc at mostly moderate doses
  • Buyers consistently praise the raspberry flavor and soft chew
  • Brand advertises a 100% money-back guarantee
  • 5,000 mcg of biotin has little evidence for hair or nails in people who aren't deficient and can distort some lab tests
  • About $1 a day at the brand's list price, several times the cost of mainstream biotin gummies
  • No named third-party testing; the label misprints vitamin D as 10 mg and uses titanium dioxide for color
  • Marketing promises to fight hair loss and heal the scalp, which the evidence does not support

Our verdicts

Undeniable Beauty

Undeniable Beauty is one of the better-made beauty gummies: NSF certified, fully disclosed and widely liked for its taste. But it relies on the same high-dose biotin as cheaper rivals, and its 50 mg of keratin is a fraction of the studied amount. Think of it as a pleasant daily habit, not a fix for thinning hair.

Hair Skin and Nails Gummies

WEEM is a pleasant-tasting vegan gummy with a broad, fully disclosed vitamin label. Its signature 5,000 mcg of biotin, though, is unlikely to change hair or nails unless you are deficient, the marketing goes well beyond the evidence, and at about $1 a day it costs far more than comparable biotin gummies. If you want to try biotin, a cheaper product does the same job, and new or patchy hair loss deserves a clinician visit first.
