High Absorption Magnesium (Lysinate Glycinate)
A long-running Amazon favorite: 200 mg of fully chelated magnesium per serving that is easy on the gut, but the tablets are large and the full label dose exceeds the UL.

TikTok Shop's best-selling magnesium puts 500 mg in one NSF contents-certified capsule, but oxide leads an undisclosed 8-form blend and the dose tops NIH's limit.

Our verdict
Toplux earns its NSF contents certification, and one capsule a day is easy, which helps explain its loyal following. The eight-form story is mostly marketing, though: amounts are undisclosed, oxide leads the list, and 500 mg exceeds the supplemental upper limit. If you want a gentle, well-absorbed magnesium for sleep or stress, a glycinate or citrate product with a disclosed dose is the better buy; if you tolerate magnesium well and value the certification, Toplux is a reasonable but overhyped choice.

Toplux's Magnesium Complex is the supplement that broke out on TikTok Shop. The brand's official listing shows about 2.1 million units sold, and the sales tracker FastMoss ranked it the No. 2 TikTok Shop US product of any kind by revenue in both the first and second quarters of 2026. The pitch is eight forms of magnesium in one capsule (oxide, glycinate, malate, taurate, citrate, carbonate, aspartate and orotate) for sleep, muscles and stress.
The label we read lists 500 mg of magnesium per capsule, 119% of the Daily Value, but gives no amount for any individual form, and magnesium oxide comes first. That matters. Oxide is about 60% magnesium by weight, while chelates such as glycinate are closer to 14%, so a single capsule can only reach 500 mg if oxide supplies much of it. NIH notes that citrate and aspartate tend to be absorbed better than oxide. The dose also sits above the 350 mg upper limit NIH sets for magnesium from supplements, a limit set mainly to avoid diarrhea.
On quality, Toplux does better than most viral brands: NSF lists the product under its NSF/ANSI 173 contents certification, which checks that the bottle matches the label and screens for contaminants. Buyers and creators mostly describe calmer evenings and fewer cramps within a couple of weeks, while the recurring complaints are large capsules and looser stools. Several creators also warn about counterfeit listings, so buy from the official shop.
