Pros and cons

Liposomal Glutathione Direct Strips

  • Fully disclosed amounts with no proprietary blend
  • Pleasant sour-lemon strip that dissolves without water
  • Made in the company's own California facility
  • Oral glutathione raised blood levels in a six-month trial at 250 to 1,000 mg a day
  • Individually sealed strips are easy to carry
  • 80 mg per strip is well below the 250 to 1,000 mg a day used in studies
  • About $1.23 a strip, or roughly $3.70 a day to reach a studied dose
  • Absorption and brightening claims rest on small, company-affiliated data with inconsistent figures
  • Contains FD&C Yellow No. 6 despite an "additive free" badge

Liquid Morning Multivitamin + Hair Growth

  • Provides Lustriva at about the 160 mg daily dose that improved hair thickness in a placebo-controlled trial
  • Clean Label Project certified and made in a GMP facility
  • Liquid format with methylfolate and methylcobalamin, so no pills to swallow
  • Sugar-free, vegan, and free of dairy, gluten and soy
  • Most buyers enjoy the Peach Mango flavor
  • 10,000 mcg of biotin (33,333% DV) can distort lab tests, including troponin tests for heart attacks
  • The hair evidence rests on one 12-week trial of the ingredient, not of this product
  • About $2.50 a day, and it lacks iron, iodine, calcium and magnesium
  • 1,000 mcg of chromium is far above the Daily Value, and some buyers report stomach upset

Our verdicts

Liposomal Glutathione Direct Strips

These strips are a pleasant, no-water way to take glutathione, made in the US with a fully disclosed formula. But one strip supplies about a third of the lowest dose studied, the skin-brightening evidence is modest, and reaching a studied dose costs about $3.70 a day. The marketing runs well ahead of the evidence, so buy it for convenience rather than promised results.

Liquid Morning Multivitamin + Hair Growth

This is one of the few viral hair supplements that uses its headline ingredient at the dose that worked in a trial, and Clean Label Project certification adds confidence. The trade-offs are real: the evidence is one ingredient study, the 10,000 mcg of biotin can skew blood tests, and $2.50 a day is steep for a multivitamin missing key minerals. Women who want one tasty liquid for hair and daily vitamins may find a three-month trial worthwhile, but anyone with upcoming lab work or a tight budget should look elsewhere.
