Our verdict

EKKO Creatine gets the fundamentals right: 5 g of plain creatine monohydrate per scoop, a budget price for the Unflavored tubs and, unusually for a TikTok-native brand, batch lab reports that back up the label. It lacks a banned-substance certification such as NSF Certified for Sport or Informed Choice, so drug-tested athletes should look elsewhere. For everyone else, the Unflavored 200-serving tub is one of the better-value creatines we have reviewed.

Best for

  • Budget-minded lifters who want plain 5 g creatine monohydrate
  • Buyers who want to see batch lab reports before they buy
  • People who prefer flavored creatine and are fine with sucralose

Skip it if

  • Drug-tested athletes who need NSF or Informed certification
  • Anyone avoiding sucralose or acesulfame potassium, unless they buy Unflavored

Our review

EKKO Creatine Monohydrate, from the gym-apparel and supplement brand Ekkovision, is one of TikTok Shop's top-selling creatines: in October 2026 the official EKKOVISION listing showed about 620,000 units sold. The 100-serving Unflavored tub holds 500 g, or 100 scoops of 5 g, and the label lists creatine monohydrate as the only ingredient, milled to 200 mesh for easier mixing. Flavored versions use 7 to 8.6 g scoops that add acids, flavors, sucralose and acesulfame potassium around the same 5 g of creatine.

Five grams a day is the standard maintenance dose in the International Society of Sports Nutrition position stand, and monohydrate is the best-studied form for strength and lean mass. What sets EKKO apart is that its "3rd Party Tested" claim is backed by published certificates of analysis rather than a bare badge. Reports from Mission Mountain Laboratories, an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited lab, measured 5.0 to 5.37 g of creatine per scoop across five lots from 2024 to 2026, and a 2025 heavy-metals test found lead, cadmium and mercury below detection limits. That is still not a certification: EKKO is not listed by NSF or Informed Choice, and there is no banned-substance screening.

Price is competitive. On Ekkovision's site the 100-serving Unflavored tub costs $29.99, about $0.30 per scoop, and the 200-serving tub $39.99, about $0.20; the official TikTok Shop listing charged $23.99 and $34.99. Flavored 100-serving tubs run $0.35 to $0.40 a scoop. Buyers praise mixability and flavor; the most common complaints are tubs that arrive clumped solid or damaged and flavors that are often out of stock.

Creatine monohydrate (micronized, 200 mesh)

The standard daily maintenance dose in the ISSN position stand; independent HPLC assays of five lots measured 5.0 to 5.37 g per scoop. Benefits apply to women as well as men, and a 2024 meta-analysis found modest memory gains.

5 g
Sucralose and acesulfame potassium (flavored tubs only)

Zero-calorie sweeteners in the flavored versions, alongside malic and tartaric acid and flavors; the Unflavored tub lists no other ingredients.

Pros & cons

What we like

  • 5 g of creatine monohydrate per scoop, the standard studied dose, with nothing else in the Unflavored tub
  • Published lot-specific lab reports from an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited lab show 5.0 to 5.37 g per scoop
  • Unflavored costs about $0.20 to $0.30 per serving, in line with budget leaders
  • Buyers consistently say it mixes easily, and the flavor range is wide

Watch-outs

  • No banned-substance certification such as NSF Certified for Sport or Informed Choice
  • Some buyers report tubs arriving clumped solid, damaged or exposed to moisture
  • Flavored versions add sucralose and acesulfame potassium and cost more per serving
  • The manufacturer is not named, and the "GMP Certified" badge cites no certifier

Questions buyers ask

Is EKKO creatine really third-party tested?
Yes, in a limited sense. EKKO publishes lot-specific certificates of analysis from Mission Mountain Laboratories, an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited lab in Montana, showing 5.0 to 5.37 g of creatine per scoop, plus a heavy-metals report on one lot. That is not a certification program: there is no banned-substance screening, and EKKO is not listed by NSF or Informed Choice.
Should I buy Unflavored or a flavored tub?
Unflavored is the better buy for most people. It contains only creatine, uses a 5 g scoop and costs about $0.20 to $0.30 per serving. Flavored tubs keep the same 5 g of creatine but add acids, flavors, sucralose and acesulfame potassium, raise the scoop to 7 to 8.6 g and cost roughly $0.27 to $0.40 per serving, depending on size.
Is creatine bad for your kidneys or hair?
Current evidence says no for healthy adults. Controlled trials show creatine slightly raises blood creatinine, a lab marker that can be mistaken for reduced kidney function, while measured filtration stays the same. A 2025 randomized trial of 5 g a day for 12 weeks found no change in DHT or hair density. People with kidney disease should check with a doctor first.
