Our verdict
Momentous offers some of the most thoroughly documented creatine on the market, with NSF Certified for Sport status and batch-level test results. It is an excellent choice for tested athletes and documentation-minded buyers, but the price is steep, and shoppers who valued it specifically for Creapure should know the raw material has changed.

Momentous Creatine is a single-ingredient creatine monohydrate powder: one scoop provides 5 g, the daily dose used across most creatine research, and the unflavored jar contains nothing else. For years it was marketed as a Creapure product, but Momentous now states on its product page that it no longer sources creatine from Creapure. The current version is sold as "Signature Spec," which the brand describes as made in a pharmaceutical facility to its own specification.
The brand's claims for that spec are unusually detailed: at least 99.99% purity, heavy-metal limits it says are two to five times tighter than other premium brands, screening for microplastics and PFAS, purification with reverse-osmosis water and an ultrafine ≥200-mesh powder. Momentous lists NSF Certified for Sport, Eurofins, Light Labs and SuppCo as outside verification, and says it publishes Light Labs results on product pages and offers certificates of analysis for every batch. We confirmed the NSF Certified for Sport listing independently; the other figures are the brand's own.
Buyer and creator feedback is consistent on taste, which most describe as neutral. buyer reviews are mixed on dissolving in cold water, texture and stomach comfort, though many of those reviews predate the reformulation, which the brand says was milled finer specifically to mix better.
The drawback is cost: $42.99 for 90 servings works out to about $0.48 per serving, or roughly $0.36 with a subscription discount. That buys documentation and certification rather than a stronger effect, since 5 g of monohydrate performs the same regardless of brand.
