The Best Greens & Superfoods of 2026

We scored 7 greens & superfoods products on efficacy, purity, value, experience and transparency — then read the labels, checked the certifications and watched the creator reviews so you don’t have to. Here’s how they rank.

Independent rankings — brands can’t pay for placement. How we score
1Best OverallGreens & Superfoods
Front of AG1 Next Gen Original 30-serving pouch (390 g)

AG1 Next Gen is the best-tested and most thoroughly studied greens powder we track, and its probiotic and vitamin forms are genuinely good. But much of the formula sits inside proprietary blends, and at over $3 per scoop you are paying a large premium for convenience. Buy it if NSF certification and a one-scoop routine matter more to you than cost; otherwise a basic multivitamin plus more produce covers most of the same ground.

NSF Certified for Sport

Why we like it

  • NSF Certified for Sport, with certified lots listed publicly
  • Five named, well-researched probiotic strains at 10 billion viable cells
  • Bioavailable vitamin forms (5-MTHF folate, methylcobalamin, P5P)

Keep in mind

  • About $3.33 per serving at $99.99 per 30-serving pouch
  • Two proprietary blends (9 g combined) hide individual botanical doses

2Greens & Superfoods
Front of Garden of Life Raw Organic Perfect Food Green Superfood Original 30-serving tub

Perfect Food is our pick for shoppers who want an organic, unsweetened greens powder with no stevia or flavor tricks, and its certifications are stronger than most at this price. It is not a multivitamin, its probiotic dose is modest, and the earthy taste needs a smoothie to hide it. If you value clean sourcing over flavor, it is a solid everyday option.

USDA OrganicCertified Gluten-FreeCertified Vegan

  • Certified USDA Organic, NSF Certified Gluten-Free and certified vegan
  • No stevia, sweeteners or added sugars in the Original
  • Juiced grass blend (3.5 g) plus 24 organic fruits and vegetables

Keep in mind

  • Earthy, grassy taste is hard to drink in plain water
  • Proprietary blends hide individual ingredient amounts

3Best ValueGreens & Superfoods
Front of Amazing Grass Super Greens The Original 30-serving tub
6.8
Mixed

Amazing Grass is the sensible budget pick: a real dose of dried greens, a named probiotic strain and a price that undercuts premium powders by two-thirds. It will not replace a multivitamin, its blends are proprietary, and it lacks a sport or contaminant certification. Choose it if you want an inexpensive greens boost for smoothies and can live with an earthy taste.

KoshercGMP facility

Why we like it

  • About $0.95 per scoop at list price, often cheaper
  • 5.4 g Green Food Blend of organic grasses, spinach, spirulina and chlorella
  • Names its probiotic strain and dose (B. subtilis DE111, 1 billion CFU)

Keep in mind

  • Proprietary blends hide individual ingredient amounts
  • No NSF or Informed Choice certification

4Most ViralGreens & Superfoods
Front of Grüns Superfoods Greens Gummies Low Sugar pouch, 28 daily packs

Grüns is best understood as a well-formulated gummy multivitamin with a generous dose of fiber, wrapped in greens marketing. That is genuinely useful for people who will not swallow pills or drink powders, but the plant ingredients are hidden in one blend and the standard version adds 8 g of sugar. At roughly $1.78 to $2.38 a day, it is convenient rather than a bargain.

Third-party testedcGMP facility

Why we like it

  • Vitamins at about 100% DV with active folate and B12 forms
  • 6 g of fiber per pack, far more than most greens powders
  • Company-run 12-week placebo-controlled study on nutrient levels

Keep in mind

  • 8.7 g Core Nutrients Blend hides individual superfood amounts
  • Original contains 8 g added sugar per pack

5Greens & Superfoods
Front of Bloom Greens & Superfoods Berry 30-serving tub

Bloom Nutrition

Greens & Superfoods

6.1
Poor

Bloom is one of the best-tasting and most affordable greens drinks, which is why it keeps people consistent. But its doses are small, its seven blends hide most amounts, and its probiotic count is undisclosed, so its bloating and energy claims rest mostly on marketing. Treat it as a pleasant fiber drink rather than a nutritional insurance policy.

Third-party testedcGMP facility

Why we like it

  • Widely praised fruit flavors that mix easily in water
  • About $1.13 per serving at the brand's list price
  • 2 g of prebiotic fiber from chicory FOS, flax and agave inulin

Keep in mind

  • Seven proprietary blends hide individual ingredient amounts
  • No probiotic strain names or CFU count on the label

6Greens & Superfoods
Front of Live it Up Super Greens Original 30-serving pouch

Live it Up

Super Greens

5.9
Poor

On paper, Live it Up offers more organic greens and a better-documented probiotic than many rivals for less than half the price of AG1. But a Class I Salmonella recall affecting nearly 800,000 units in early 2026 is a serious quality failure for a product people drink daily. Until the brand builds a longer clean track record or earns a named third-party certification, we rank it below similarly priced alternatives.

Third-party testedcGMP facility

Why we like it

  • 7.3 g blend of organic grasses, algae and vegetables per scoop
  • Four named probiotic strains at 5 billion CFU
  • 3 g of fiber with no added sugar or stevia

Keep in mind

  • Class I recall in January 2026 for possible Salmonella contamination (795,834 units)
  • Proprietary 7.3 g blend hides individual amounts

7Greens & Superfoods
Front of BrickHouse Nutrition Field of Greens Original tub

BrickHouse Nutrition

Field of Greens

5.4
Poor

Field of Greens is a pleasant, organic way to add some fruit and vegetable powders and a light vitamin boost to your day. But its headline anti-aging claim overstates a small, open-label study, its blends are unquantified, and at about $3 per scoop it is among the most expensive options we track. Cheaper organic powders deliver similar ingredients without the hype.

USDA OrganicThird-party testedcGMP facility

Why we like it

  • USDA Organic, vegan and gluten-free
  • Wide range of flavors, including Strawberry Lemonade and Wildberry
  • Evaluated in an independent, peer-reviewed university study

Keep in mind

  • About $3.00 per serving at the brand's $89.95 list price
  • Blends are listed without amounts on a Nutrition Facts label

FAQ

Can a greens powder replace eating vegetables?
No. The research linking produce to lower risk of heart disease and early death is based on eating whole fruits and vegetables, with benefits seen up to roughly 800 g a day. A greens scoop contains only a few grams of dried plant material and lacks the volume and much of the fiber of real produce. Use greens as a supplement to vegetables, not a substitute.
Do greens powders help with bloating?
Some people find the fiber, probiotics or enzymes in greens products helpful, but there is little research on these finished products for bloating, and adding fiber quickly can cause gas in some people. Before-and-after videos on social media are not evidence. If bloating is frequent or comes with pain, weight loss or changes in bowel habits, see a clinician rather than trying more supplements.
Are greens powders safe to take every day?
For most healthy adults, yes, but check a few things. Leafy greens are a major source of vitamin K, and MedlinePlus advises people taking warfarin to keep vitamin K intake consistent, so talk to your clinician first. Avoid doubling up on vitamins with a multivitamin, choose third-party tested products to limit heavy-metal exposure, and get advice if you are pregnant or take other medications.
Are greens gummies as good as greens powders?
Gummies are easier to take but usually deliver less. A daily gummy pack can supply fiber and vitamins, but the plant ingredients tend to be present in small amounts and sugar is common: the original Grüns pack we reviewed has 8 g of added sugar. Powders generally hold more plant material per serving, so compare fiber, sugar and the vitamin panel before choosing.
Do I need a greens powder if I already take a multivitamin?
Probably not for vitamins and minerals, since many greens drinks overlap heavily with a multivitamin. The main extras are small amounts of plant ingredients, fiber and sometimes probiotics. If your goal is more vegetables, eating them works better; if you want fiber or a specific probiotic, a dedicated product with a disclosed dose is often cheaper and easier to evaluate.
