NSF Certified for Sport greens drink with a full multivitamin and 10 billion viable cells of five named probiotics, but over $3 a scoop with two proprietary blends.

A cheaper AG1 alternative with 7.3 g of organic greens and 5 billion CFU of named probiotics, but a January 2026 Class I Salmonella recall weighs heavily on trust.

Our verdict
On paper, Live it Up offers more organic greens and a better-documented probiotic than many rivals for less than half the price of AG1. But a Class I Salmonella recall affecting nearly 800,000 units in early 2026 is a serious quality failure for a product people drink daily. Until the brand builds a longer clean track record or earns a named third-party certification, we rank it below similarly priced alternatives.

Key ingredients at clinically studied doses, and how strong the evidence is.
Third-party testing and certifications, manufacturing standards, contaminant testing, recall history.
Cost per effective serving compared with category peers.
Taste, mixability, texture and tolerability from aggregated buyer and creator feedback.
Full label disclosure (no proprietary blends), available COAs, honest marketing.
Live it Up Super Greens built its audience as a lower-cost, stevia-free alternative to AG1. Each 8.3 g scoop of the Original contains 30 calories, 3 g of fiber and no added sugar, sweetened lightly with monk fruit.
The core is a 7.3 g blend of organic wheat grass, barley grass, chlorella, spirulina, oat grass, alfalfa, nopal cactus, broccoli, parsley, spinach, kale, ginger, kelp, peppermint and dandelion. That is more dried greens than most flavored powders deliver, though per-ingredient amounts are not disclosed. A probiotic blend names four strains (L. acidophilus LA85, L. casei LC89, B. bifidum BBi32 and B. lactis Bla80) at 5 billion CFU, and a small 74 mg enzyme complex rounds it out. Because nutrients come from the plants, the panel is uneven: vitamin K (138% DV), iodine (140% DV, from kelp) and chromium (171% DV) are high, while most minerals are low.
Trust is the problem. In January 2026, Superfoods, Inc. recalled 795,834 units of Original and Wild Berry pouches and stick packs for possible Salmonella Typhimurium contamination, a Class I recall that FDA now lists as completed; news reports tied the product to illnesses in multiple states. The brand's ingredients page now says its panel is based on test results from June 2026 and offers downloadable test data, and it describes its products as third-party tested and GMP-certified, without naming a certifier.
Pricing is $59.99 for a one-time pouch or $39.99 on subscription (about $1.33 a scoop). Much of the creator coverage is sponsored or gifted, so we weight independent and buyer feedback more heavily.
